![]() Honda ATC 350X Front Wheel Hub Spacers Axle Brake 85 1985. The ATC250R remains a popular model for collectors due to its high-performance 2-stroke engines and racing heritage and the 4-stroke “X” ATCs continue to be popular trail machines. Honda atc 350x Big Bore Kit, valve springs, titanium retainers, clutch springs. This led to the creation of the ATC250R, a 2-stroke racing ATC based on the CR250 motocross line in 1981 and 3 more Sport ATCs, using 4-stroke engines. Originally catering to winter activity, campers, hunters and weekend Recreational riders that ATCs were envisioned for, their research showed there was a market for utility-focused machines for commercial and agricultural use, and dedicated sport models intended for leisure and competition use. As the popularity of ATCs exploded in the late seventies, Honda began to diversify their line. In 1970, Honda created the three-wheeled “All Terrain Cycle” market nearly single-handedly with the release of the Honda US90. The machines lacked luggage racks and other utilitarian features, commonplace on most other ATCs or ATVs. Has anybody done a 375 BB kit on a 350 Rancher I did a search and found a 375 kit which includes a sleeve and the piston, rings, gaskets, etc. and one last thing, if your using a thumb throttle, switch over to a LT80 style one or something, if you can figure it out, because then you can put a govern it.Honda Sport ATCs, produced until 1987, were built specifically for performance, and designed for use in racing, or for aggressive trail riding. it will be way under-carburated using the stock atc70 carb, also, bigger carb will give you more top/mid and a smaller carb is just going to give you way more of that wheelie ripping bottom end that you probably dont want for your kids. if you get the full kit expect to pay between 300-400, and thats definately more worth it then buying a bolt in engine that uses the stock carb etc, for 200-300. make sure though that when you get the engine you buy a kit that comes with wiring, comes with a carb, and maybe even a exhaust if you can. best place to get these engines is either ebay, or find a website. and i dont think it will be quite as crazy, even though the sprockets your using still does mean alot. if you buy a lifan 125 engine or something, the tranny inside the engine is MEANT for that bore. basically if your big boreing, go with aftermarket sprockets. lots of power + stock gearing ='s too much torque. ( All pre-’87 models must use ’87 or newer OEM Honda mounts, available from your local dealer.) Note: This tank will NOT use your stock shrouds. ive put people on it, that had riding experience, and they ALWAYS fell off the back almost immediately, they had no idea what they were in for. ATC 350X (ALL) STOCK CAPACITY 11393 quantity. 1985-1986 Honda ATC 250R Cylinder Jug Wiseco Piston Big Bore Kit 69.50mm. my XR50 that had a cam, bigger carb, 88cc big bore. 1981-1984 Honda ATC 250R 250 R Air Cooled Cylinder Wiseco Piston Kit Top End. touch the throttle too hard, your on your butt. go with the 300-400 chinese engine.ĭoing a big-bore on a atc70 engine is going to give you MAJOR torque, that means EXTREME wheelie power. then youll realize you need a bigger carb, then a bigger exhaust, then etc etc. let me tell you, a big bore really does wonders, but you need a "super oil pump". they also make electric start kits for them as well, but thats going to cost you a extra penny well, good luck, i modded up a XR50 REAL good one time. replace the whole engine its cheap enough to do, if you dont wanna go with chinese parts, find your self a XR50 engine and start working that up, you can take that thing apart and convert it to a pull start too if you really prefer to have a pull start. the atc70 engine is going to be tired, think about all the work that crank did, and how the internals really are. go with a chinese 125 engine which you can get for around 300-400 bucks, bolts right in, has 4 speed, and has a kick starter, but the kicker will hit the fender so you have to cut a hole in the fender, or take them off every time you want to start it, also, besides that, all the XR50 big bores bolt right up to the atc70 engine. The exhaust header pipe for a 250x/300ex conversion is available as well. Engine has been used in a 250x/300ex frame, so all the conversion stuff is available with it. 13:1 high compression piston, heavy duty cam chain, port and polish and lightened flywheel. ![]() Atc70 engines are the same as XR50 engines except for the bore, you have two better options in my opinion. I have a 350X engine that has a huge Powroll 452 kit.
